Housel Bay Hotel is situated in Cornwall, overlooking the western approaches of the Atlantic Oceanit meets the English Channel. Designed and built in the early 1890s with the approval of Prime Minister William Gladstone, Housel Bay is a fine example of late Victorian architecture.

The Cornish Coast Path runs through the hotel gardens and provides access east and west to many of the most stunning locations in the British mainlands most southerly county. The tidal beach can be reached from steps directly from the property.

Every room has an en suite bathroom and a TV for guests to enjoy, and some also have a seating area. Please note, our images show the room types not the specific room you are booking.

Housel Bay Hotel offers two unique restaurants serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. The Terrace features panoramic views of Housel Bay, a beautiful garden and the stunning Lizard Peninsula. Fallowfields restaurant has been awarded two rosettes, features an open kitchen, and offers a special tasting menu experience. Guests can enjoy local drinks in Marconi’s bar, the Snug or in the beautiful garden with endless sea views. There is a yoga studio available forguests, and a hidden beach just steps below the hotel.

The hotel day starts from hour 16:00 and ends at 11:00.

King Panoramic View. All of the Panoramic View rooms have uninterrupted, wall to wall views of the sea and Cornish coastline. They are the most spacious rooms at the property, andfeature a seating area located in front of the bay windows with direct sea views. All of these rooms are en-suite and have free high speed WiFi. Theycontain a flat screen SMART HD televisions, vanity areas with a hairdryer, teacoffee making facilities and a comfortable king-size bed. The style of these rooms is traditional, simple and cosy, and some even have original Victorian features. All of our Panoramic View rooms feature Super King size beds. Please let the property know of any requests in the special requests box at time of booking and they will try our best to accommodate you. This room type is not dog friendly. ;
King Ocean View. The Ocean View rooms are a cosy double, and feature antique Victorian furniture.of the Ocean View rooms also offer a view of the garden and the South West coastal footpath. All of these rooms are en-suite and have free high speed WiFi. Theycontain a flat screen SMART HD televisions, vanity areas with a hairdryer, teacoffee making facilities and a comfortable king-size bed. The style of these rooms is traditional, simple and cosy, and some even have original Victorian features. This room type is not dog friendly. ;
Country View. The Double Country View room has inland views of the Cornish countryside. This room has a contemporary, fresh look, and has a modern wet room bathroom. This room type has free high speed WiFi, contains flat screen TV, teacoffee making facilities, vanity area with a hairdryer, and comfortable double bed. This room type is not dog friendly. ;
Roomie Country View - Twin. These mid sized charming rooms offer a partial sea views, and also look out at the fields and countryside of the Lizard Peninsula. They have been decorated traditionally, and even have some Victorian features. All of these rooms are en-suite and have free high speed WiFi. They contain flat screen TV, vanity areas with a hairdryer, teacoffee making facilities and a comfortable super king-size bed. These Partial Sea View rooms can be madeTwin Rooms. Cosy Country View. This cosy double room offers partial sea views, and also looks out at the fields and countryside of the Lizard Peninsula. Family Room. The double room is north facing, with no sea view. It has a contemporary, fresh look, including ‘wet room’ bathroom. This room has an en-suite and has free high speed WiFi. It contains a SMART flat screen TV, teacoffee making facilities, vanity area with a hairdryer, and a comfortable bed. Please note; there is no view in our Family Rooms, if you are looking for a view we recommend one of our other rooms, otherwise, you can soak upthe epic views inour shared spaces during your stay with us.
